To manage calls
There are a number of functions you can use during a call. To access the
functions, simply press Options, scroll to the function and press Select.
Menu — You can access Menu.
Answer — You can answer an incoming call.
Reject — You can reject an incoming call.
Record — You can record your conversation with this option. See ”Recorder
(Menu 6)” on page 150.
Hold / Unhold — Hold allows you to put the current call on hold, so that
another call can be made. The original call can be activated again by selecting
Unhold. If the held call is the only call, you can unhold it by pressing
or
the Unhold command.
Swap — This function makes a held call active and put a currently active call
on hold. You can thus alternate between two calls.
New call — Puts the active call on hold and dials a new phone number.
Send DTMF — Transmits DTMF tones. See ”To send DTMF tones” on page 138.
End this call — Ends the active call.
End all calls — Ends both the active and the held call.
Mute / Unmute — Switches the microphone of the communicator off or on. If
the communicator is connected to a handsfree car kit, Mute also turns off the
microphone of the car kit.
Conference — If you have one call active and another call on hold, this option
merges them into a conference call.
Conference / One to one — Conference includes a new participant in a
conference call. During a conference call, One to one allows you to converse
privately with a selected participant.
Transfer — The voice call transfer enables you to connect two voice calls

together and disconnect yourself from both calls. See ”Multiple calls” on page
50. Note that not all network operators support this function.
Data — When you have an alternating call active, this option changes the
mode of the call from voice to fax. See ”Multiple calls” on page 50.
Voice — When you have an alternating call active, this option changes the
mode of the call from fax to voice.
Play last — Plays the last recording made with the recorder. The other party
will also hear the recording.
